Pay it forward: VIVA Foundation at Camp Movement

Camp Movement is honoured to welcome beneficiaries from VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Swim Lab families!
The Swim Lab is the Centre for Movement’s resident swim academy. All children enrolled in The Swim Lab’s Learn to Swim programs are entitled to 2 makeup classes per term, to be used whenever they are unable to attend class due to scheduling conflicts or other commitments.
At the launch of the Pay It Forward program in December 2023, Swim Lab families volunteered to donate their makeup credits to sponsor 10 Camp Movement seats for young VIVA cancer survivors and their caregiving siblings.
The Pay It Forward program continues into 2024, and we look forward to welcoming more VIVA beneficiaries to Camp Movement!
ABOUT VIVA FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER
VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer is a Singapore-based charity founded in 2006, which focuses on saving the lives of children with cancer through research, medical care and education.
VIVA works very closely with the world-renowned St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (Tennesee, USA) with the ambitious aim of translating the high cure rates achieved by St Jude into Singapore and the wider Asia region.
ABOUT THE SWIM LAB
The Swim Lab is the resident swim academy at the Centre for Movement, and a member of the Sports Schooling family.
The Swim Lab sees the pool as a learning environment where kids can learn through play and grow as active, confident children.
